In aesthetic dentistry, it is one of the safest and most commonly performed procedures. The color of tooth enamel is changed using an active substance (hydrogen peroxide and its variants).
Tooth discoloration is influenced by many factors, such as intensive use of teeth-staining foods, smoking, and the Patient's current age. During the first consultation, the doctor will evaluate all these factors and choose the most suitable method of teeth whitening.
TEETH WHITENING METHODS:
TEETH WHITENING WITH TRAYS
- Bleaching trays are made for each Patient individually by taking dental impressions. After a teeth tray is made, the Patient receives recommendations on the peculiarities of teeth whitening at home. Usually, such teeth whitening lasts 10-14 days.
LASER TEETH WHITENING
- This kind of teeth bleaching is done in the clinic. The result is achieved in one visit. A high concentration bleaching gel is put on the teeth and then the laser is used to enhance the effect of this gel. 1 or 2 days after the procedure the Patient might experience the increased sensitivity of teeth.
