A panoramic X-ray shows an image of the upper and lower jaw and adjacent anatomical structures. It can also assess many things: the condition of all teeth, nearby tissues, the maxillary sinuses, and the lower jaw joints.

For an initial consultation with a doctor - general dentist;
While planning a tooth (wisdom or non-erupted) removal operation;
To assess the position and condition of wisdom teeth;
For the development of a treatment plan for bigger prosthetic works;
When it is necessary to assess the periodontal condition;
While planning an implant procedure;
Planning an orthodontic treatment (it is recommended to take an additional image of the side view of the head).
