A dental X-ray image shows one or a few teeth. The doctor can see the condition of the dental canals and the bone around them. 

INDICATIONS FOR PERFORMING AN X-RAY IMAGE:

• If  it is necessary to diagnose the cause of toothache;
• To monitor the treatment of root canals;
• To assess caries in the interdental spaces and root area;
• To diagnose tooth root apex inflammation;
• To assess periodontal pockets.
